Sky Painting

Looking at my GPS, this area was called Sunshine. Only 10 minutes away from Talkeetna, I stumbled upon this open field. Up until that point the aurora had been just a hazy glow. Slowly the green lights began to increase in brightness. Radiating so intensely! The pink and purples decided they were going to compete with the brightness of the green. Painting the sky with strokes of light.
